STANDARD CONDITIONS OF BOOKING AND TRAVEL:

Whilst every reasonable effort will be made to ensure that the locomotive, route and train timings will be as specified herein, Torbay Express Ltd (“the Company”) reserves the right to alter these at any time should this become necessary owing to circumstances outside the Company’s control.  Accordingly, the Company will not incur or accept any liability to customers for any such alterations.  On the day of the journey, all reasonable efforts will be made to ensure that the train runs as advertised. However, the Company cannot accept any responsibility for delays, alterations or curtailment of the journey as a result of circumstances outside the Company’s control and therefore the Company’s responsibility shall be limited to returning customers to the station at which they joined the train.

The steam locomotive allocated to each train may vary and no guarantee can be given as to the availability of any particular locomotive.  Should the designated steam locomotive be declared unfit to commence or continue the service, it may become necessary to substitute a diesel locomotive.   In such circumstances credit vouchers of £20 per person (Standard Class), £30 (First Class) and £40 (Premier Class) will be issued for use against future bookings where such failure has occurred prior to or during the outward sector of the journey but no other liability will be incurred.

Your booking constitutes acceptance of these standard conditions of booking and travel and no refunds shall be due other than in the event of cancellation of the train prior to commencement of the journey.
