Wendy, our Office Manager, is at it again!
You may recall that in recent years she has walked 'The Cotswold Way' and run our local Half Marathon, both for charity. Well, this year in the first week of June, Wendy will be tackling the 100 miles from Chepstow to Tewskesbury along 'The Gloucestershire Way'. The walk is being undertaken to raise funds for Milestone School in Gloucester; a Special School catering for 300 pupils aged between 2 and 16 years.
If you would like to support Wendy in this worthy cause please make a donation online or send a cheque to the office at the usual address.
Wendy will really appreciate your support.
We would like to offer our congratulations to the 'Orange Army' who worked incredibly hard to finish the repairs to the weather damaged line at Dawlish, and even completed them ahead of schedule. We are delighted for everyone living in the area and look forward to bringing our trains full of visitors to help the tourism industry in Paignton and Dartmouth.
It has been decided to extend the early booking discount on The Torbay Express trains running in July until the 30 April.
N.B. The discount is already included in the prices on the booking system
We have just heard the good news that the line at Dawlish is to re-open on Friday 4 April. The webcams on the line are to start operating again tonight at 18:00 so you will be able to watch the work progressing. Have a look on railcam.org.uk & dawlishbeach.com
We send our sympathy to everyone who has been affected by the appalling weather. We are waiting to hear how long it will be before the tracks are repaired, particularly at Dawlish and along the sea wall. As soon as we have any information we will update this website.

Dorothy House is the local hospice charity for Bath, North and West Wiltshire and parts of Somerset. It provides free high-quality care and support to people with life-threatening illness. The hospice is based at Winsley, Bradford on Avon.
Torbay Express Volunteer Steward Lesley Harris presented the donation to Emily Knight from Dorothy House Hospice.
